The Amazon Assignment

Insight:  Show them YACHAK is the plant-based, organic energy that refuels you while it re-forests the Amazon.

The Big Idea:  What if YACHAK hosted a photo contest that could lead to you taking a once-in-a-lifetime photo assignment in the Brazilian Amazon. You'll be selected by National Geographic photographer Ami Vitale and you will get to document Yachak's reforestation efforts with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit tree-planting organization.

My Role: Ideation, Art Direction, Design, Pre and Post Production

In addition to going on assignment, the winner received $25,000, mentorship from Ami Vitale ( National Geographic photographer), a year's supply of Yachak Yerba Mate Energy Tea, and some of their photos portfolio featured on Yachak's social platforms, as well as creating a revenue stream to help fund reforestation in the Amazon.

To ensure that Amazon always had the necessary funding, we collaborated with Shutterstock to upload the thousands of pictures captured by our winning photographer during their mission to create stock photos any person or brand can use to contribute to the reforestation project in the Amazon.
