Hi, I'm Amera-Rime (but you can call me Amera!) 👋
Arab-Latina, born and raised in NYC, and proud of it. What's up, Brooklyn?!
I started out writing code as a Computer Scientist, then realized I'd rather be making things people feel. Now I'm a Senior Art Director who turns big ideas into stories that actually move people. By day I'm crafting campaigns, and some days you'll find me at the front of a classroom as an Adjunct Professor at CUNY New York City College of Technology, helping the next wave of creatives find their voice.
I've had the joy of creating work for brands like Dove, Degree, Pure Leaf, Colgate, Samsung, Verizon, Amazon, IKEA, and Walmart (yes, the fridge, the phone, and the shampoo in your shower might all know my work).

Diversity and inclusion isn't a side project for me; it's the heartbeat of what I do, in advertising and beyond. I'm proud to sit on the SWANA for ADCOLOR Leadership Committee and previously served on the 4A's MAIP Alumni Committee.
Off the clock? I'm an award-winning photographer and a fashion designer who sometimes sews her own clothes, because sustainable style is the best kind of style. When I'm not behind a camera or a sewing machine, I'm probably packing a bag for my next adventure. Traveling the world is one of my favorite ways to find fresh inspiration. ✨
